A REALTOR® is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. Gary Franz is also a member of the local association know as NABOR; Newton Area Board of Realtors and the Wichita Area Association of Realtors.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising;

and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

Designations

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry.

Community Involvment

Gary Franz is presently on the board of the Harvey County Homeless Shelter. This shelter serves on an average of 15 homeless men, women and children in the area. The Gary Franz Team has as its slogan, "Everyone Needs a Home". Frequent team activites include cooking a meal for the shelter and raising funds for shelter operation.

Gary Franz is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and participates aggressively in the promotion of the city of Newton in its marketing plans to newcomers to Newton and Harvey County.

Gary and his wife are members of the Whitestone Mennonite Church in Hesston, KS. Recently he was the director of the "40 Days of Purpose" Campaign and now seeks to help other individuals and churches in a similar program of dedication.

Gary Franz is volunteer President of the Hopi Mission School Foundation. This foundation relates to a 50+ year old school on the Hopi Indian Reservation and has recently built a gym for the school childern on the the school campus.
